The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Bennington Badgers (Bennington, NE) and the host Mount Michael Benedictine Knights (Elkhorn, NE), saw Bennington's baseball team get by Mount Michael Benedictine by a margin of 1-0.

The Badgers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE). The Pioneers enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Nebraska City got by Palmyra (Palmyra, NE), 13-0, in a non-league match.
