The Litchfield Purple Panthers baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Springfield Senators to 6 in the Purple Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

Next up, the Purple Panthers battle the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 23. Litchfield will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record.
