California High School Baseball - Carter held off by Shadow Hills

In Saturday's non-league bout, the Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) baseball squad the visiting Carter Lions (Rialto, CA), by a tally of 9-7.

Next up, the Knights encounter the Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA) in a bout, on Monday, March 23. Shadow Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rattlers enter the bout with a 0-10 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Beaumont (Beaumont, CA).

The Lions (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Pacifica Christian (Newport Beach, CA). The Tritons go into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Pacifica Christian by Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA), 17-0, in a non-league challenge.
