Central Wildcats (Florence, AL) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Cullman Bearcats (Cullman, AL), 9-6 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Central upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN) to confront the Warriors in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 25. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.

The Bearcats (20-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hayden (Hayden, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 14-9 record. In their last challenge, Hayden was routed by Springville (Springville, AL), 14-2, in a league challenge.
