The Brother Rice Crusaders crushed the host Sandburg Eagles baseball team by a count of 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to IMG Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 24. Brother Rice will face a Ascenders team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over George Jenkins (Lakeland, FL). The Ascenders record now stands at 9-0.

Next, the Eagles face the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 25. Sandburg will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 16-6 non-league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL).
