In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Layton Lancers baseball team scored a nice 13-2 victory over the Buena Park Coyotes.
The Lancers (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Davis (Kaysville, UT). The Darts go into the 6A Region 1 game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Davis was overwhelmed by Riverton (Riverton, UT), 14-4, in a non-league game.
The Coyotes (6-10) will now prepare for their game against La Salle (Pasadena, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, La Salle was overwhelmed by Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA), 4-2, in a league game.
