Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Cornerstone Christian Warriors (San Antonio, TX), 10-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sinton upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX) to clash with the Sandcrabs in a 4A Region IV District 26 game on Friday, March 25. The Sandcrabs go into the game with a record of 2-7.

The Warriors (23-2) will now prepare for their game against Newman International Academy (Cedar Hill, TX). The Warriors go into the TCAF Division 1 District 1 game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Newman International Academy tipped Chisholm Trail Academy (Keene, TX), 12-2, in a league game.
