In Tuesday's league test, the host Pope John Paul II Knights lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-11 victory over the University Tigers.
The Knights now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Summit for a non-league test on Friday, March 25. Pope John Paul II will face a Spartans squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Father Ryan (Nashville, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Hendersonville Spartans [Hendersonville/Beech/Hyde/Station Camp/Aaron Academy] Spartans (Hendersonville, TN) in a Central North test, on Thursday, March 24. University will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN).
