In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Riverbend Bears.
The Black Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors come into the Jefferson battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Western Albemarle was nudged by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 11-0, in a league battle.
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Stafford (Stafford, VA). The Wolverines come into the Commonwealth battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, North Stafford was nudged by Patriot (Nokesville, VA), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
