In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Marengo Indians soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Jefferson J-Hawks.
The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, North Boone was nudged by Belvidere (Belvidere, IL), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
The J-Hawks (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL). The Royal Lions come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.
