Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) and the visiting Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ), saw Willow Canyon's baseball squad knock off Verrado by a count of 12-2.

The Vipers now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Point for a battle on Wednesday, March 23. Verrado will play a Dragons squad coming off a 13-2 league loss to Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Dragons record now stands at 0-2.
