Depew Wildcats (Depew, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY), 5-1 in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Newfane for a Class D battle on Thursday, March 24.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Kenmore East Bulldogs (Tonawanda, NY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 25. Amherst Central will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY).
