Worthington Kilbourne Wolves (Columbus, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH), 12-6 in a non-league test.
The Wolves now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dublin Jerome for a non-league test on Saturday, March 26. Worthington Kilbourne will face a Celtics squad coming off a 23-8 non-league win over New Albany (New Albany, OH). The Celtics record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Bexley Lions (Columbus, OH) in a Region 7 match, on Saturday, March 26. Big Walnut will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Lions go into the match with a 1-2 record after their 11-4 league loss to Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH).
