In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) softball team overwhelmed the host Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY), by a margin of 18-1.

With the triumph, Nicholas County moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bluejackets travel to Bath County (Owingsville, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 24. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 3-1. Bath County won 5-2 in their recent non-league contest against Wolfe County (Campton, KY)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 24. Augusta will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
