The Barren County Trojans softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Logan County Cougars to 5 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Barren County improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Russellville (Russellville, KY) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, March 24. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 2-0.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 25. Logan County will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY).
