In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA), by a margin of 6-0.

With the triumph, Vasquez moves its record to 13-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA) to play the Knights in a Heritage contest on Thursday, March 24. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 2-4. Desert Christian won 19-7 in their recent league contest against Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA)

In their next game, the Burros play the Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA) in a Mojave River contest, on Friday, March 25. Burroughs will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Diamondbacks enter the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Barstow (Barstow, CA).
