Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Valley Christian Vikings (Dublin, CA), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Jayhawks now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host The Bay School for a challenge on Friday, March 25. Head-Royce will battle a Breakers squad coming off a 13-5 league loss to Redwood Christian (San Lorenzo, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Valley Christian falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Lick-Wilmerding (San Francisco, CA) to battle the Tigers in a Bay Counties - West challenge on Thursday, March 24. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
