The Higley Knights softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Metro Tech Knights to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Higley moves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Knights host Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A San Tan game on Friday, March 25. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 9-4. Gilbert won 22-0 in their recent non-league game against Glendale (Glendale, AZ)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 23. Metro Tech will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Apollo (Glendale, AZ).
