St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Fighting Saints now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Downers Grove North for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 25.

With the loss, Kaneland falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Central (Burlington, IL) to battle the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
