The Selma Bears softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Kerman Lions to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Dinuba for a Central Sequoia match on Friday, March 25. Selma will face a Emperors squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Hanford West (Hanford, CA). The Emperors record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Kerman moves to 4-6 on the season. The Lions travel to McLane (Fresno, CA) to face the Highlanders in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 23. The Highlanders go into the match with a record of 5-3.
