The Merion Mercy Academy Golden Bears softball team scored 24 runs and limited the host Lower Merion Aces to 5 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Merion Mercy Academy moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Golden Bears host Springfield Township (Erdenheim, PA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league game on Friday, March 25. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Aces clash with the Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) in a Central game, on Monday, April 4. Lower Merion will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
