The Sulphur Golden Tors baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Dutchtown Griffins to 3 in the Golden Tors non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Golden Tors (16-2) will now prepare for their match against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 3-15 record. In their last match, East Ascension tipped Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Dutchtown falls to 17-5 on the season. The Griffins host Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-4.
