The Manatee Hurricanes baseball team (Bradenton, FL), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting Port Charlotte Pirates (Port Charlotte, FL)

The Pirates now hold a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Parrish Community for a non-league outing on Friday, March 24. Port Charlotte will face a Bulls team coming off a 10-6 non-league win over IMG Academy Gray (Bradenton, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 8-3.

Next, the Hurricanes face the Palmetto Tigers (Palmetto, FL) in a 6A District 11 outing, on Friday, March 24. Manatee will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 3-7 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA).
