The Nash Central Bulldogs baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting North Pitt Panthers to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Wildcats go into the The Big East 2A/3A match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Bunn gained a win over Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 7-6, in a league match.
The Panthers (1-7) will now prepare for their match against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Cougars go into the Eastern Plains 2A match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, SouthWest Edgecombe was overwhelmed by Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC), 10-0, in a league match.
