The Ottawa Pirates baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting St. Bede Bruins to 2 in the Pirates non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
The Bruins (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Rockets go into the Three Rivers match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Rockridge was overwhelmed by Alleman (Rock Island, IL), 6-2, in a non-league match.
