The Palmetto Tigers baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers to 4 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Manatee (Bradenton, FL). The Hurricanes go into the 6A District 11 match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Manatee by Port Charlotte (Port Charlotte, FL), 3-1, in a non-league match.

The Chargers (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Freedom Area (Freedom, PA). The Bulldogs go into the WPIAL 2A 2 match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Freedom Area edged Carlynton (Carnegie, PA), 17-0, in a non-league match.
