The Pinecrest Patriots the visiting Whiteville Wolfpack baseball team by a count of 10-5 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Southern Lee for a Sandhills 3A/4A bout on Friday, March 24. Pinecrest will face a Cavaliers team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-5.
Next, the Wolfpack face the East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A bout, on Tuesday, March 28. Whiteville will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Gators enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Green Sea Floyds (Green Sea, SC).
