The San Gabriel Matadors held off the host Arcadia Apaches volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Matadors now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schurr for a test on Tuesday, April 4. San Gabriel will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Alhambra (Alhambra, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.

The Apaches (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Pasadena (Pasadena, CA). The Bulldogs enter the test with a 16-3 record.
