Illinois High School Lacrosse - Metea Valley drops to Lincoln-Way Central

March 22, 2023: New Lenox, IL 60451

Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 15-8 in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host St. Charles East/North for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 25. Lincoln-Way Central will clash with a Fighting Saints squad coming off a 17-3 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 1-1.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 10. Metea Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
