In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Union Pines Vikings baseball team scored a nice 17-1 victory over the Glenn Bobcats.
The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Fighting Scots go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Scotland overcame Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 10-1, in a non-league game.
The Bobcats (1-5) will now prepare for their game against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, West Forsyth was overwhelmed by Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 4-1, in a non-league game.
