The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lakeland Dreadnaughts (Lakeland, FL) and the host Venice Indians (Venice, FL), saw Lakeland's lacrosse team achieve victory over Venice by a margin of 9-4.

The Dreadnaughts (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bartow (Bartow, FL). The Yellow Jackets enter the 2A D9 challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Bartow edged Lake Wales (Lake Wales, FL), 9-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Indians (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Riverview Sarasota was overwhelmed by Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL), 12-11, in a non-league challenge.
