Pennsylvania High School Softball - Ambridge knocked off by Hopewell

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) softball team overwhelmed the host Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), by a margin of 15-0.

With the triumph, Hopewell moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Vikings travel to Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 23. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Bridgers play the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 25. Ambridge will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 15-2 non-league win over Karns City (Karns City, PA).
