Ohio High School Softball - Bloom-Carroll can't get by Newark Catholic

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH) softball team held off the host Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs (Carroll, OH), by a margin of 7-6.

With the triumph, Newark Catholic moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Green Wave travel to Millersport (Millersport, OH) to play the Lakers in a non-league contest on Monday, March 27. The Lakers come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves (Columbus, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 24. Bloom-Carroll will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
