The Yelm Tornados softball team scored 36 runs and limited the visiting Eatonville Cruisers to 0 in the Tornados non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Yelm moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Tornados travel to Ellensburg (Ellensburg, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, March 24. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Cruisers play the Elma Eagles (Elma, WA) in a 1A Evergreen game, on Tuesday, March 28. Eatonville will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 5-1 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Napavine (Napavine, WA).
