The South Nodaway Longhorns baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Albany Warriors to 4 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Friday.
The Longhorns (2-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Joseph Christian (St. Joseph, MO). The Lions go into the Class 1 District 15 match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, St. Joseph Christian edged DeKalb (DeKalb, MO), 15-0, in a league match.
The Warriors (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Maysville (Maysville, MO). The Wolverines go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Maysville was overwhelmed by Maryville (Maryville, MO), 2-0, in a non-league match.
