The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers baseball team (Severn, MD), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC)

The Cadets now hold a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gonzaga for a Washington Catholic outing on Monday, March 25. St. John's will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 league win over DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.

Next, the Cavaliers confront the Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 23. Archbishop Spalding will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Landon (Bethesda, MD).
