Charleston Tigers (Charleston, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Lamar Warriors (Lamar, AR), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Charleston upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Two Rivers (Ola, AR) to battle the Gators in a 3A Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 26. The Gators come into the test with a record of 1-3.

With the defeat, Lamar falls to 6-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to Pottsville (Pottsville, AR) to battle the Apaches in a non-league test on Friday, March 22. The Apaches come into the test with a record of 3-6.
