Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), 8-2 in a non-league battle.

The Cavaliers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 3. Woodson will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Fairfax drops to 1-2 on the season. The Lions host West Springfield (Springfield, VA) to play the Spartans in a non-league match on Monday, April 1. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 0-1.
