Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mica Mountain for a 4A Gila challenge on Monday, March 25. Sahuarita will face a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 17-5 league win over Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Desert View falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ) to face the Dorados in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 23. The Dorados enter the challenge with a record of 15-1. Canyon del Oro lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Basha (Chandler, AZ)
