Pennsylvania High School Softball - Hopewell felled by Union Area

March 22, 2024: Aliquippa, PA 15001

In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Union Area Scotties softball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the Hopewell Vikings.

Coming up next, the Scotties encounter the Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 1 outing, on Tuesday, March 26. Union Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Flames enter the outing with a 1-2 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA).

The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Wolverine come into the WPIAL 3A 2 contest with a 2-0 record.
