Snohomish Panthers (Snohomish, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Stanwood Spartans (Stanwood, WA), 7-4 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. Snohomish will battle a Timberwolves squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Skyview (Vancouver, WA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Stanwood falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA) to battle the Red Wolves in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, April 1. The Red Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Cedarcrest won 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA)
