Texas High School Baseball - Brownwood holds off Abilene

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Brownwood Lions baseball team scored a close 6-2 victory over the Abilene Eagles.
The Lions (8-10) will now prepare for their game against Stephenville (Stephenville, TX). The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees enter the 4A Region I District 6 game with a 14-2 record. In their last game, Stephenville held off Claremore (Claremore, OK), 3-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eagles face the Legacy Leopards (Wichita Falls, TX) in a game, on Tuesday, March 25. Abilene will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Leopards enter the game with a 4-12 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Duncan (Duncan, OK).
