The Adams Cougars (Dallas, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX), 19-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Spruce for a 5A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Adams will clash with a Timberwolves team coming off a 20-1 league loss to Poteet (Mesquite, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 6-5.

With the defeat, Turner drops to 3-10 on the year. The Lions travel to Lone Star (Frisco, TX) to clash with the Rangers in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Rangers go into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Lone Star lost 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Reedy (Frisco, TX)
