In Saturday's non-league bout, the Avoyelles Mustangs (Moreauville, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Negreet Indians (Negreet, LA), by a tally of 12-2.
Next up, the Mustangs encounter the Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Avoyelles will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Chiefs enter the bout with a 12-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA).
The Indians (4-15) will now prepare for their bout against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights enter the non-league bout with a 11-8 record. In their last bout, South Beauregard was overwhelmed by Kinder (Kinder, LA), 6-3, in a non-league bout.
