In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Fort Zumwalt North Panthers baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Battle Spartans.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Liberty (Lake St. Louis, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Liberty was overwhelmed by Pattonville (Maryland Heights, MO), 6-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Spartans play the Centralia Panthers (Centralia, MO) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 28. Battle will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 4-1 record after their 11-6 non-league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, MO).
