Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Big Spring sneaks past Carlisle

March 22, 2025: Newville, PA 17241

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA) and the visiting Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA), saw Big Spring's baseball team get by Carlisle by a margin of 6-5.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA). The Mustangs enter the Mid-Penn - Colonial battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, West Perry held off Susquenita (Duncannon, PA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Thundering Herd face the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders (Harrisburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Keystone battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Trinity (Camp Hill, PA).
