Kentucky High School Baseball - Breckinridge County defeats McLean County

March 22, 2025: Harned, KY 40144

The Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) baseball trounced the visiting McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY), 9-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Fighting Tigers now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grayson County for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. Breckinridge County will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, McLean County drops to 3-2 on the year. The Cougars host Daviess County (Owensboro, KY) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Daviess County won 17-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY)
