California High School Baseball - Bret Harte sneaks past Ripon

March 22, 2025: Angels Camp, CA 95221

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Bret Harte Bullfrogs (Angels Camp, CA) and the visiting Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), saw Bret Harte's baseball team get by Ripon by a tally of 5-4.

The Bullfrogs (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Big Valley Christian (Modesto, CA). The Lions enter the Mother Lode League battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Big Valley Christian held off Riverbank (Riverbank, CA), 5-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Indians face the Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) in a Trans Valley League battle, on Wednesday, March 26. Ripon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 2-9 record after their 7-6 league win over Orestimba (Newman, CA).
