The South Fremont Cougars (St. Anthony, ID) baseball trounced the visiting Caldwell Cougars (Caldwell, ID), 11-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to American Falls for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. South Fremont will clash with a Beavers team coming off a 27-12 non-league win over Declo (Declo, ID). The Beavers record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Caldwell drops to 0-6 on the year. The Cougars host Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID) to clash with the Knights in a 5A Southern Idaho challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Bishop Kelly won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Blackfoot (Blackfoot, ID)
