The Chiawana Riverhawks (Pasco, WA) baseball the host Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA), 12-9 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Riverhawks now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Southridge for a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Chiawana will clash with a Suns team coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA). The Suns record now stands at 4-0.
With the defeat, Sunnyside drops to 1-4 on the year. The Grizzlies host Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA) to clash with the Mavericks in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Mavericks go into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
